    Mesa picketing at DFW

    0 Not allowed! Not allowed!
    From Erik Larsen/Mesa Air Group:

We are picketing at DFW on Thursday, February 23, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

We will have a bus at DFW to use for transportation back and forth from the airport to Envoy MEC office. It will leave the airport at 8:30 a.m. at door B26 to bring pilots who commute in to the Envoy MEC office for the 9:00 a.m. breakfast and briefing. The bus will then head back to airport starting at 10:45 a.m. for picketing from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We will then go back to Envoy office for lunch and debrief.

Address for the Envoy MEC office is:
    150 Westpark Way
    Suite 130
    Euless, TX 76040

Any and all support is greatly appreciated.

    Erik Larsen
    Mesa Air Group,
currently MAG 85 temporary chairman/interim captain rep

Maybe I'm hazy from my trip, why is MESA need a bus to the envoy MEC office? What are they picketing?

They have been deadlocked in contract negotiations for about 6 years or so. I would assume that is what the picketing is about. As to the ENY MEC office's involvement, I'm confused as well.

I believe their management just rejected a proposal from their union for contract improvements. Management offered no counter either.

Ornstein and Parker are one in the same. My understanding APA told Parker to shove it, today. Hopefully are MEC can do the same.

I personally have zero sympathy for Mesa pilots. They all knowingly went to the biggest turd of a bottom feeding airline that only gets away with putting out such a terrible product by severely undercutting the competition.

Why does ALPA, envoy air, need to step in and use envoy's MEC headquarters to stage their protest? I think I speak for everyone that pays dues. Direct conflict doesn't mean the association needs to assist.
