    2/13/17 Class Drop

Here's the class drop for today:

    9 145
    2 175
    3 CRJ

We actually had to put guys in a pool. Training is slammed with all of the new upgrades and new hires. Otherwise we would have had a full class of 35-40.

Things at Envoy are very good right now. More new hires and upgrades than we can keep up with.

Put them all in the CRJ and stop making CRJ CA sit right seat. Upgrade the CRJ FO's that have been awaiting training since October who aren't scheduled to go to class till this summer.

You sir should stop trying to rain on everyone's parade. Let's congratulate these new hires and welcome them in. Great things are happening here and much, much more is in store. We are finally on the right track and the machine is now well oiled and humming.

Well oiled and humming? We all have our perspectives.

I was at Eagle 2004-2014. Many of my friends are still there. Ongoing contract violations, junior mans, poor line quality and construction, lengthy time from vacancy award to class (6+ months), etc is not what I would define as "well oiled and humming." It's exciting to see the flow program to AA generate movement but if the music were to stop would you be happy with your QOL?

After the bankruptcy, the Eagle that I and so many others knew is no more. Long gone are the days of the productive 85 hour 3 day trips with 16-18 days off and significant number of 2 day back to back pairings. Junior mans were far fewer and I remember the day it was actually possible to receive a partial/full drop or PVD without a "denied due to staffing" response. I remember when I could finish a reserve sequence without the endless extensions and turn backs. Perhaps life is so great for you, Dacuj, because you weren't a part of that era. If not, I understand why you perceive life is so great as you have no means of comparison. However, don't dismiss others opinions simply because they do not align with yours.

Such a well oilied machine that we cant fill full classes because training is all backed up and students are sitting at home for 4 weeks getting paid after indoc.....and then sitting for 3-4 weeks at home getting paid awaiting ioe...... meanwhile line pilots are pickup up the slack at 200% pay and then some extra for the countless JM'S that beat down the pilots heath and morale and turn into fatigue and sick calls after said abuse...... For some reason I thought we had a management team that should have projected this problem and staffed the training department properly (putting oil in the machine). I am not here to talk down on the company I choose to work for but I can not sit and read this garbage you have put out!

I think you're at the wrong parade.
