Would be interesting to calculate how much $$ lost on that one.

Mr. Lucky congrats. When you get here you are going to hear plenty of complaining. My advice is don't listen to it. This is a good place to work and depending on your bid status, a great place to work.

Congratulation on your flow. Hope you enjoy it at AA.

I do find it quite funny at those here who slam the company and the flow. The very mechanism that is taking you to AA is bashed by many on here.

hey azzhole, (dacuj) yes he is happy and good for him. But, he as all the other pilots have paid a dear price for that to happen, dip shi+. Or are you comfortable and satisfied for the pilots to be at the bottom of QOL issue, live with rotten schedules, pay that is poor and benefits that are mediocre and then maybe, just maybe you will flow to AA sometime in the future without a specific, guaranteed date after you suffered here at envoy. You sir are like a tornado, pops up here and there blows a lot of foul wind, destroy everything in front of it and then disappear until the next order from RW to come out here and push the rosy picture that does not exist.
    Sir, can I have another.

I'm sorry you were trapped in the lost decade and things have not worked in your favor and seemingly have spiraled out of control from there.

However, it's not "like it was back when we were Eagle" now. The flow is a necessary recruiting tool and it works. It's also very real and AAG has honored it to the letter. I can only assume you are upset that a 1500 hour CFI can hire on today and be at AA in 2022.

Maybe you are just a disgruntled Envoy lifer now. That said, Envoy isn't even half as bad as the picture you paint. Most think things here are pretty rosy. We are looking at more 175s and there are whispers of LA opening. Life is good here. Get with the program.

Actually. Eagle was a good place to work. Prior to the name change and the late 2011 bankruptcy, things here were good. I didn't have a flow to look forward to. We were a large airline with great bases great people and produced a great product for our parents AMR. Now we work at envoy. An offshoot of USAir management which cares nothing about the product, but about the bottom line. I flew on PSA 900s last week, and to say their product is an embarrassment is an understatement. To wear the same uniforms as then is an insult to my fellow crew members and I that remember what it was like here not long ago.

No one resents improvements for the new guys. Those improvements should have happened long ago, and we are glad to see improvements for the new folks.

What you never acknowledge is that, YES, the schedules are the worst in the industry. Trips are usually unproductive, low credit, and lines have minimum days off. These are some main causes of the widespread low morale.

But why acknowledge facts when personal attacks are so much more fun?

I have to agree with the above. Even if upgrade were a year and you flow in three years, I would still not come to envoy. As difficult as it is to maintain a marriage, have kids, this would be the last place I would go, or recommend. Wth the worst schedules in the industry, envoy is truly a potential home wrecker.
