24 in the Feb 6 class?.... so much for the 40 every two weeks. Looks like another month and flow date pushed back another month yet again. Rinse and repeat.

Got to love our industry leading contractual flow agreement we have.

    What say you Dacuj?

Minimum ROI is likely to be the dividend of the future regarding AA flow at Envoy. Plan accordingly.

AA training is backed up. Talked to a check airman yesterday that AA is using sim’s on the west side of DFW for 737. Newer electric sims are bigger than old sims so where the 80’s used to be, they to move walls out further. I needed a R18, it took over 30 days to schedule it.

They want 800+ new-hires this year ? I bet they’ll bog down and fall well short. Flow fell short last year and could this year.

Falling short of the hiring goal of 900+ at AA helps the Envoy pilots.

It could. Of course, Envoy fell short of their goal which I mentioned so maybe yes, maybe no.

Envoy has not fallen short of their flow goal. The company’s goal has always been 25.

Explain the “maybe yes maybe no”

The funny thing here is, envoy hires about 50 per month (guessing) aa hires say 90 a month. Envoy has no facilities and aa has two airline facilities, envoy gets buy with what they have and AA can't train 90 pilots without problems.
What else does aa need to be ableto hire and train 90 a month without any bull.
    Just asking.

Everyone's sims have to come down in 2018 to update for stall training. This might impact the legacy carriers a little differently. If a 145 or 737 sim comes down for two months, they can absorb the training elsewhere. But if the 777/767/330 sims come down it has a trickle down affect. Upgrades and transitions slow down.

    This is my best guess.

    Explain ?

Last year Envoy didn’t flow every month. Unforeseen circumstances resulted in less then the advertised flow to Envoy pilots which depending on source was 300-360 pilots. AA might not meet hiring projections this year due to training backlogs which is good for Envoy pilots, but if they make those adjustments by not hiring in a specific month, Envoy sends zero for that month like the past. Other factors not yet identified could also be in play, so.........

.......maybe yes, maybe no. That’s my point about the flow..........no guarantees on timing.
