I haven't heard anything yet. I have my aa.pilotcredentials.com profile filled out, but I still don't understand how they will know it's me without it being tied to my employee number. I have a pretty unique last name, but what if my name were John Smith? My AA.com email hasn't received anything yet either.
How i.e. did you get notified?

I got notified via the email I had on file with pilot credentials. I am not sure how they find us on that site, but they seemed to make it work. I actually over looked the email initially. It didn't say AA or anything like that. It said "Support Department". That was kind of confusing.

How's Envoy doing?
Just a brag here; had my best reserve week I can remember. Got my transfer to LGA, didn't get called the whole week, and got to spend the week at home. My dogs quit barking at me, my kids aren't pissed at me for leaving all the time, and I actually got stuff done around the house. Was I tied to the phone? Yes! Did I have my uniform and overnight bag loaded and ready to go? Yes! Did I honestly worry about whether or not I was getting a trip? No! I'm ready to head to the airport, from my house, if needed.
I hope everyone gets to experience the transfer to home or a nearby base, with a decent schedule, ASAP. I got initially assigned PHL, which was not home, but turned out to be great. The USAir crews were really good people, laid back and easy to fly with. I was up front with letting them know I was new and appreciated any tips they wanted to share. They did, and it's all good info. I highly recommend asking for pointers if you're new, it saves frustration on the captain's part and gives them an honest heads up and they're all willing to help.
Reserve here is 12 off and whatever you can hold as far as PBS is concerned. Yeah, we'll spend a while on reserve, but it ain't so bad. If you're trying to get to NY, it's pretty junior, so it'll happen fairly quickly. The more popular bases like DFW, ORD, LAX all are currently taking a while. Over a year, for some. I'm not sure about BOS MIA, DCA or the LUS bases.
Reserve is reserve, but as a previous flow told me, its better than a good day at Eagle. They're still hiring like crazy, so you'll move up. I went from 95% in base PHL to 75% in base LGA, do what base you pick will definitely affect how much you work. Currently they're really loading up the 737 and the 320, so that's likely what you'll be offered if you're going to class soon. All could change at the drop of a hat, obviously.
Good luck, hope things keep moving and you all get here ASAP.

Glad to hear you like it so much, and I'm happy for you that you got LGA. Thanks again for all the information that you put up here, it has been really helpful to me and I'm sure to a bunch of other people.

LGA 320 seems to be where they are stockpiling FO's. Currently we have 74 hard lines with 208 First Officers. As a comparison, LGA FO 737 shows 110 hard lines and 216 FO's. 737 FO's work. Airbus FO's on RSV, don't. However, line holders can make a significant amount more $$$ than reserves especially as you get into 3rd and 4th year pay. Another consideration that may or may not be a factor is that the Airbus is currently flying out of JFK and LGA while the 737 covers EWR as well. That could be an issue depending on where you live. Then again you might not have a choice of base and equipment.

Just got the email, in my junk folder, so keep an eye out. Subject was Support Department, as mentioned above, so thanks again for that heads up. I got the April 18th class![]()

Congrats! Now that you have that class date, get ready for time to stop completely.
How many did you miss the April 4 class? It had been indicated to us that there were 30 flows in that April 4 class. That must have been more bad info.

I don't know. I'll see what I can find out. And thanks!

When you find out how many, let us know. I know from Capt. Bob that there are 30 flows in my class (April 4).

I'm not completely sure, but I've been told by someone that follows this that there are 15 flows in the April 18th class.

I have a question for anyone who has recently flowed. When you leave envoy, do they pay out your short term sick at 100% on your final check? I was told by someone leaving for another airline that they refused to pay out his short term sick time. (I know they don't pay out your accrued long term sick)

Thanks for the info! Do you know if that is a part of the 824 arbitration or is that for everyone? Is that in writing somewhere?

For PP guys the envoy PP q and a info says neither supplemental nor the short term sick will transfer. I've got over 100 hours in short term sick. And not enough time to use it all before flowing. I'm right after the 824. Not happy!

Does anyone have any info on how long it is running from finishing class until you can hold an LAX base? Also, does it make a difference getting there quicker if you are A320 or 73?

Nah, I havent even been called yet lucky. Hoping for getting picked in June. I just know a year ago, people were getting LAX out the gate, wondering how much that has changed. Can people still get LAX quick, or is it a year wait now. Just looking into the future how much commuting im going to have to do, and how much your aircraft effects the move. Congrats on the 18th class though, its close!

Last time LAX was awarded out of the gate was class 17-01 & 02 (jan 10 & 24, 2017 classes). 7 people got 320 and 1 was 737. Before that the last award date for LAX was Nov 16

Also, the 737 is a four way co domicile, something to think about if you don't live there.
