Envoy management is committed to getting a deal done that gets pilots what they deserve.

"The flow will increase from 15 to 20 per month after the L1011 pilots flow."

"Pay significantly increases for all pilots up to 15% across the board!"

"Good times keep rolling at the Voy!"

If you are planning to flow in 5.5 years, then here are the envoy rates for just you.

Hope you can make your student loan payment.

    Form a former recruiter:
“I did a stint in recruiting at Eagle in the early 2000's, we told all the candidates they would flow to AA in five years, because that's what we were told (sorry about that guys and gals).”

Surprised it took The Spooge to post the “Great news” over 24 hours after the fact.
    As expected, void of substance.

More details are out and the response sounds overwhelmingly negative. “Lowball” would be an apt description. The question is, has the MEC already accepted it with virtually no input from the pilots ? Sad, if true. Predictable, but still sad.

Check with your rep. It was not a unanimous decision - both on the waiving of the posting period and the agreement itself.

Not an Envoy Pilot, so can’t do that. Why waive a posting period or cut the pilots out ? Smacks severely of another paternalistic act by a friendly “Association” cadre concerned only about slowing their ejection to the now former largest airline in the world, but a very competitive LCC in Pilot costs.

At least 6th in pilot compensation and farther back then that in pilot QWL. It must be the shiny “Pepsi Can” paint job that is so attractive to some pilots. At least I still think they’re #1 in the dysfunctional upper management competition though.

The breakdown of the vote should be public. It will eventually be in the meeting minutes anyway.
    who voted how?

They’ll fly low for awhile and hope this gave them the final push to AA and history repeats itself yet again.

Of course, what if this latest act of representational concessionary diarrhea on the clueless mushrooms they represent doesn’t produce the results they hoped for ?

I can only imagine what their encore performance will be.

Well there’s already talk of recalling the ones that voted Yes.

Well......too little, too late. But, I highly doubt any such action will occur anyway as this is always said after the latest shafting. Make no mistake, it is certain to happen yet again. In all likelihood a few dented garbage cans in the crew rooms, some grumbling and then back to business as usual. This is simply just a repeat of the past from a very predictable pilot group and the people they elect with no accountability.

That most amazing part is the many pilots who wonder why they keep getting the short-end of the stick. Nothing will ever change here except the players. The playbook is set in concrete and if anyone thinks this playbook isn’t used by APA, they are naive. Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it and so shall it be on the planet AA just as it is on its orbiting moon Envoy. At least those doing the shafting now at Envoy will be the shaftee’s next time around at AA. It’s Karma.

They got played. The worst part is that it was willingly.

Management did their usual last minute about face, knocked the desperate hopeful flowbies off balance, let them simmer, then slid the concessionary offer across the table and wa’la............they lunged at it. My bet says they made it contingent that A. The MEC ratified it quickly and B. The MEC took the pilots out of the loop (as usual).

Standard M.O. and of course as I stated, history repeats itself. Again, that is why the future is so predictable. When you have a pseudo-union and management in lock-step like this, the future is indeed bleak.

Unfortunately, they knew, they got played, every mec gets played because of the NDA they sign.
