737 and 320 FO in LAX are about even. Both are pretty junior and almost as junior as NY. Just bid either 737 or 320 wherever available and chances are you will get LAX before you finish training or maybe a month or two later. Personally I think the Airbus is a better gig as it does trans cons and Hawaii.

Hopefully that would be good if they're fat and it they send some to LAX.

If you get MIA/D, do yourself a favor and bid 737/I. You've done domestic for a long time at the Eagle.. Bounce around the Caribbean and stay at some nice places.LGA,ORD,DCA will always be there. Get out and enjoy it, the best flying at AA is MIA international 73. At some point I'll be going to DFW. I won't miss commuting, but I'll miss the hell out of the flying. Plus the flying is mixed. So you'll still do some domestic layovers, but it's nice to get out and do some other stuff.

Right! Flying to 3rd world countries where you can't drink the water, crazy diseases and constant customs is not every bodies cup of tea. I have spoken to a few int'l pilots who have gotten sick and hospitalized from being on Central American overnight. I just want an easy drive to work and good pay for flying an airliner.

Reminds me of why we lost our downtown layover in Halifax. People complaining that the drive to the airport was too long in the morning.
I'm hoping that I get 75/76 international out of Miami so I can get sold into sex trafficking.

What are you talking about? What does this have to do with the van ride to the airport?
Nobody wants to buy you, and sex trafficking is f***d up and a very real problem.

Couple of questions:
1. How long from selection to first contact by AA.
2. After completion of the 6 forms and pilot profile is there anything else one can do until after initial contact?

1. For me it was almost 6 weeks. Just keep an eye on your junk folder, that's where mine went.
2. That is all I did, the rest, which isn't too much, will come in several emails after initial contact.

Does anyone know whether the Protected Pilots are supposed to fill out the "Pilot Credentials" website stuff? Jetnet specifically references the 824s need to fill it out.
