Ya and how does one go about doing that with a MEC that won’t do a thing?!

never said it would be easy. However, my bet is when faced with the possibility of an injunction turning off their precious recruiting tool that a solution would be found quickly. Unfortunately, I don't see the current pilot group willing to tolerate short term pain for long term gain.

950 projected AA new-hires for 2019, but question whether that many can actually be trained due to log jams in the process. That means at max, Envoy gets about 36-37%. As a result, Envoy will have to plant, water and grow to fruition 30-35 new Captains each and every month considering some outside attrition or the engine bogs down.

APA does not expect AA to meet those numbers. AA is still behind in getting sims up to FAA’s mandated upgrades. Also talking with instructors and CKA the new upgrades for stall and upset training is very hard on the sims. Then add being short instructors, they also had two or three go out sick and unfortunately one passed away.
737 and 777 pilots are outsourced to MIA for sim and starting in Dec 777 will be using a DAL sim in ATL.
