Are Skywest, RAH and the rest also going to get matching uniforms for the AA feed?

They (Skywest) don't have to wear vests during their walkarounds on G gates in ORD. If they get hit by a bag cart it's going to be operated by an envoy employee. If it were me and I ran my ground operation on a pre-determined piece of real estate I wouldn't let anyone on it unless they had a vest, no matter who employed them.

Fashion aside the vest is a good idea.

It comes down to training......AMR use to do great training years ago....and then they figured how to be cheap....now they cut corners any way they can.....That is why we have such problems with the ramp personnel. The company just throws them to the wolves and says good luck ...

This is actually what he said:

"They may have a deal for 10 with an outside non AAG vendor in the works, which buys them time to get a deal with PDT and for PDT to spin up a training program."

Compass is rumored to get the 10 175s

    My bad.

If they both get 10 than there is the initial 20.

Cost is no matter. They have billions in the bank and are making more billions every year.

I think they get sadistic pleasure in bad employee relations, and this is just the cost of doing business/pleasure...

There is a big difference between ARE and MAY. If there was ever a time to carefully chose words, it's now.

It should be interesting on the 26th when earning are reported. I expect them to have made a good profit.

They should tread carefully with employee relations as the busy summer approaches. We still hold the advantage considering our strength in numbers. Even if they farm out 20, where will the other 40(+) 175s go?? Good luck to them getting a dedicated Delta feeder like Compass. I'm sure Delta would just sit back and watch...

If they are concerned about staffing now, wait until they announce these planes at another carrier....

BTW, why is the PDT MEC Chair signature "pending" to the latest "no more concessions for FFD" statement by ALPA?
