You vote through your LEC reps on issues like this. Make sure you call them and let them know your feelings on the matter. Better yet, send an email. Leave a paper trial so if they vote the other way, and you and a lot of friends have documentation proving otherwise, you can bring this up at their recall meeting.

Pity so much damage was done over the last several years and it too so long to root the people out that let it happen.

I'm for unity, however I'm concerned that we are appointing some unreasonable people to leader positions of our union.

Unreasonable? How are they unreasonable? If following the will of those that they represent makes them unreasonable, then perhaps it is you that needs to define unreasonable for us. We as a pilot group and now an industry have said NO to any more concessions. That seems pretty reasonable to me.

maybe it is unreasonable to have the majority win or to have the leadership do as the majority wishes. something new here at eagle considering that the previous leadership did as it pleased NOT as the majority wished. live with it orchard, I have to live with a BS BK contract.
    Sir, can I have another.

What I think is unreasonable is more concessions, on top of our $43 million bankruptcy concessionary contract we already have.

There was a time when they did. We did get improvements to our contract.

But now the question is, "for whom?" We have been taken great advantage of for several years, and what started out as a good thing turned into a snack fest and rectal rape.

Enough is enough. The pendulum was in the middle, swung way too far to one side, and it's now passed back through the middle. I'm good with that.

Vice Chair resigned via email just before the meeting to remove him. He stated he didn't want the clowns to have to count to six again so he resigned.

Appointed Juan DePedro ORD FO to negotiating committee
Appointed Walter Craig Buntins DFW CA to negotiating committee

Appointed Pat Cuture DFW CA to Mergers Committee
Appointed Steve VanHoogstraten GSW CA to Mergers Committee

Changed policy manual so Merger Commitee and Negotiating Committee are no longer appointed until recalled; they will now stand for reelection with MEC officers.

    Tabled ASPEN LOA

Passed resolution to help create a payroll audit type program

Presentation from SPC on modifying or developing a new strategic plan. Entered executive session.
