So, it seems to be relatively quiet seeing that the big meeting in DC is coming up. Am I mistaken? Is it not on the 7th? Has the side dungeon torture chamber been prepared for those reps that need "reeducation" during this "fluid situation?" Perhaps Putin is coming in place of Glass this time?

To those in the dark, it seems very quiet. To those in the very upper echelon, there has been no silence. As we speak, your chairman knows much and you will soon vote on a new deal. The players never lost control of the game, they just had a temporary setback.

Beagle, Nemisis and Grim called the ball.

The MEC chairman had a meeting yeaterday with upper management, and now the MEC is being called in to hear the latest offer in super secrecy. I've been told it's esentially the same AIP with minor sweeteners.

They also said there a rumor that the company did find somebody to agree to take some planes if we say no. The MEC did tell us this could happen.

well someone else can take the planes but with everything that has been written in the past 3 weeks during our idle time there is absolutely no one who can staff 150 aircraft......vote "no".

Oh management said, now there is a group of people I trust. They found somebody, who and where? As is they look as fools if they don't make the announcement that they did. They also are viewed as liars because they said they will comair us and when the MEC said no and get us jobs elsewhere they ran quickly to state that we never said that you misunderstood our menacing meaning of COMAIR II you.

    Vote NO and be happy.

Flows are leaving to aa, pilots are leaving for elsewhere. So why vote anything than NO, I have a concessionary contract from bankruptcy for 8 years And 6 to go. Management will put the airplanes where ever there dicks aim to in the wind, so why give anything for something YOU WILL NOT CONTROL, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

RAH voting gets tallied on the 28th. At least that is what a CHQ capt showed me from his Teamsters Email. Ballots are arriving in the mail from what I heard.

i really hope our MEC won't roll over, accepting anything with concession is simply stupid. doesn't matter how they spin it, we all know the big picture. i trust my dfw reps, we all know ny is on our side too. what about MIA? who's going to be casting the vote for Murray?

Murray's vote will most likely be casted by an unelected person named Jackson in ord.
    Mia is the wild card.

No decision should be made til after march 30th by the MEC board. This way rah vote will be tallied.
Either way, AAG has no one to fly the airplanes or they would not be still talking. They stated what they would do if we voted NO, they have back peddled and continued to discuss but will not change there position on the AIP.

So since management won't change, may I remind the everyone, that we have a contract good for mother six years.
May I remind everyone that we have senior captains flowing to aa reducing the pilot cost dramatically which management is not accounting for. Pilots are leaving from both ends of the seniority list, cost dropping fast and management wants more, not going to happen.

Why does management want a freeze on pay for ten years, why does management want 4/12 pay scales, why is the flow riddled with holes for management to use in its favor, why, because the flow will stop, no movement other than leave eagle, they will have pilots stuck here at slave wages and reduced benefits and shi+ QOL.

You know a ugly pig with lipstick is still a ugly pig. Keep telling your REPS to vote NO.

Apparently yes, but I'm willing to bet it's not worth our time.

The only thing worth our time would be improvements to our 8 year contract to include a new, industry leading FO pay scale, duty rigs, greater than 50% flow to AA since we are so top heavy, and settlement of current contract violations, just to name a few from a long list. Anything further concessionary is a complete and total waste of our time and dues money. However, this upper echelon of crooks in DC will probably find some way to get this out for a pilot vote. IMO, we will vote down this LOA, and then depending on what happens at RAH with their TA vote (which closes on the 28th), the next set of baseless company threats will be released.

In looking at the listed Agenda Items, one really has to wonder why this meeting is being conducted in Herndon.

The only viable reason I can see (based on the published agenda items) would be to discuss items other than those listed and to do it without having the "circus atmosphere" created by having pesky line pilots observing. Of course some of the agenda are so broad as to be most anything.

Either way I just can't see anything good for the PILOTS coming out of having it there.

It's in Herndon so the company can tell ALPA to tell us why we should take the deal.
