Upper 600, and in the 824 group with 25+ years left. The door can hit me on the way out. I'm fine with that.

Let's hope they keep hiring and our agreements are upheld.

8 years left with a number (which I never wanted!). I'm staying. Can't afford to lose over $125K and there's no guarantee on holding a medical tomorrow much less 2-3 years from now. Commuting for the rest of my career isn't palatable either. Not worth leaving to me.

Was on the fence before they closed LAX.
But with 16 years in and 19 years left I figure if I have to commute anyway I may as well flow.
It will take me 13 years to break even though $$ wise, and maybe come up 500k ahead by the end of my career.
Like I said if they hadn't closed LAX I was leaning toward staying, but now it is a no brained to leave somewhere.

16 years to go with a number. I will make the decision when the time comes. Still to many unknowns to state what my intentions are.

25 years and lower 824. If all other attempts to leave fail, I'm taking it.

I'm off this ship as well. The 824 is going junior and maybe 10% of the numbered guys will flow, if that many. If AA ramps up, look like I'm over there by next fall.

I thought it started at the top and included all without a number. Including Rights pilots.

Heard the company AE will start roadshows again in Dec. I would suggest the if you are a FT pilot and go, tell the company that you can not afford the pay cut. Possibly they sweeten the pot for all AE pilots going over. I am going to have to take out loans ect to get by. Plus would like to see DG's face when they call him and say less than 10% are going to flow.

They don't care if you leave or not. Under this TA in year 4 we get benchmarked to industry average. End result, company got both pay and work rule concessions. Thanks MEC.

want to flow, go pay. why would the pilots here have to subsidize any loans to a flow pilot
to go to AA. why not for any mainline? tell you what, why not redirect our 401k contributions to
go to a flow fund for you guys to draw on, like our union officials bar tabs.

cujo has it correct, (the 75% who are week kneed/i am going to mainline, my words) voted in a benchmarking of our
compensation package to where we will be taking paycuts october 2016.

are not these the same people now who were trying to throw out senior pilots a few years ago with the union help,
flow to aa or flow out the door.

    just an opinion

Ardvark, not one person who has responded to this thread has mentioned anything about loans from the company, subsidized by AE pilots. One person DID mention that he was going to take out loans himself to get through the pay cut

As for the implication that those who want to, and are about to, flow were YES votes during the contract vote, I can tell you - and you should know this already because I was pretty vocal when the vote passed - that I was a firm NO vote AND i'm flowing over.

But that's ok. Keep up with the caustic, loose generalizations about flow through pilots.

Whether someone flows or not depends on many factors.
Retirement date, financial stability, family/personal circumstances.

If given the opportunity to flow, I would estimate almost all with 14 years or less to retirement will stay at Eagle, almost all with 20 years or more to retirement will flow.
In between that will be a sliding scale, depending upon the persons individual circumstances and goals.
With that guesstimate and the interactive seniority list anyone should be able to get a pretty good estimate of their current projection.

I am mid 500's seniority, all the 254 are senior to me, I project less than 50% of those with numbers will flow based on retirement age. 130 people MAX, more likely less, guessing in the 100 range realistically.
And of those 824 that are senior to me I project a MAX of 85 to flow based on retirement year, probably less, as most of them have passed previously in one way or another.
Worst case scenario is Oct 2013 flow for me given current known info, could be sooner (EDIT: Looks like July/Aug now that it seems numbered guys are going in Jan), of course that assumes no wrench in the works (spin off, change in AA hiring, USAir merger etc.), which is not necessarily a safe assumption to make in the current environment......

16 years to go, 13 years in. I'll only flow if UAL or DAL don't call first. If they call soon after? Hhmmm.

lets see, you go to aa, dal calls after. if it is within the year i would go to dal, it is an automatic 50% pay raise.
