Just talked with a Rep. Guy. He says that they are hearing that frontier might have a buyer. If that's true and eagle buys them, do the frontier guys. Whose seniority falls within the 824 have claim to those numbers, or are they protected pilots, or entitled to nothing.

Why would you think Eagle would buy them? There was a previous rumor that American would buy them and Republic would buy Eagle, no real money swap. AA would get Airbuses quicker and Republic gets to feed AA.

But, in the unlikely event that it were Eagle then I am sure Frontier Captains would be at the top of the list and FO's would probably be mixed in with our Captains.

As far as the 824 goes, well, who knows. IMO you would be better off investing in the lottery!

No merit to this rumor. Was more interested in the integration and the 824 question.

IIRC the arrangement was for pilots on the AE seniority list at the time of the ruling and for the protected pilots it was everyone on the seniority list before the end of Oct this year. Therefore the Frontier pilots would not benefit as they were not part of the seniority list.

I hope it's a moot issue regardless, and we don't have something new to worry about.
